ON THE ORIGINAL
LONDON-PENZANCE
ROUTE
.. since the late 1500's the Old Ferry Inn enjoys spectacular views over Fowey, the river and out to the English Channel.
The ferry which takes both cars and foot passengers
has been running since the 1400's and we are located
on the famous Hall Walk: a 2-3 hour round trip
crossing the river twice and taking in Bodinnick, Pont Pil
Polruan and Fowey itself.

All of our rooms have goose feather and down bedding
wrapped in Egyptian cotton,
high count fluffy towels and Bramley amenities

the former family home of Daphne du Maurier.
As it chills our dining room has great views,
or grab a pint and something warming from our menu
in our traditional Cornish Pub or relax with a pack of cards
or board game in our Bar Lounge.
We offer traditional Cornish Ales as well as craft ales in keg for you to enjoy.
Along with a quality wine list we also distill our own
Gins and Vodka under the 'Yards' brand, as well as making our own
Rum and Tequila on the premises.
For something special we have a varied Whiskey list.

Parking is a challenge in Bodinnick and the ferry queue can get quite long
in the peak season
so we recommend parking up and walking over on to the ferry if you are
coming from Fowey.
Driving to us, we are about 15mins from the A38.
There is a small council car-park and limited spaces on the roads around Bodinnick.
We have a residents only car-park, however like a lot of Cornwall
you may have to park a 5 minute walk away..
We promise to do our best to make your walk worth it!
